![]() ![]() However, I directly asked if the email I received with tickets could be used for entry and she responded yes. The rep I finally got to speak to for rescheduling (on hold for 1 whole hour) was nice and made the new reservation easily. And you may find the website to function poorly. Customer service is horrible in most of my experiences with them. Then when we were in SA we called customer service to reschedule due to weather. I made a reservation under my annual pass. They are requiring reservations now during covid. If you are considering going to SeaWorld I'd recommend printing your tickets and I suppose print proof of a reservation date. Spanky’s were a total letdown too, we had the baked potato fries which fries were very soggy the bacon was floppy. Later on in the day we had a BBQ plate that was almost $20 and had the chicken ribs and brisket it was cold, bland and gummy. We ate a Chinese plate which was when they first opened and I could tell it was just rewarmed from the day before, chicken was super mushy and tasted like refrigerator. I am getting nauseated just thinking about it. All of the food we had was really, really bad. I remember a pirates 4D theater show many years ago and it was a great way to pass time and cool down. I hope this park could eventually invest in indoor rides or a show in air conditioning. We were hiding out at the penguin exhibits benches for about an hour and a half because it was just way too hot I can’t imagine ever visiting during the summer again. There is a major lack of shaded areas, we are sunburned to a crisp. I was sad the jet ski show at the ampitheatre was not operating I remember enjoying it a lot. The sea lion high show was definitely the highlight of the day it was fantastic. I was a bit disappointed in the dolphin and beluga whale show I recall there being a bunch of acrobatics back then. I visited SeaWorld San Antonio on Friday August 14, first time back at seaworld since 2008, It was awesome seeing the orcas again after all these years. Beautifully laid out and it was a great afternoon that kept us busy and a touch of nostalgia with the Sesame Street parade to finish ![]() Food on site has variety but is expensive and lots of up-selling going on which is up to guests to ignore. We only had one day and tickets at $70 a head were overpriced for the limited hours and attractions but we bought one gold annual pass and used the free friend tickets to achieve our single family visit - a bit convoluted but that's down to SeaWorld not properly pricing the season properly. The christmas lights were very pretty and extensive. I have personal misgivings about the merits of an orca conservation programme at a location not even near the sea but accept they have the animal stock they have and SeaWorld has to now make the best of who they are and where they are. We arrived at 2pm and managed to fit in all the animal shows, they were all good and the narrative has clearly shifted to education from entertainment. The Atlantis and Great White were closed for winter maintenance and I do wish these places would make this really clear on their websites which highlighted all rides not explaining that for months two of the six would be shut. Light crowds meant we walked onto the rides that were open of which the wave rider was favourite. We went at the end of the winter lights festival, there were military guests and families making up the light crowds so I guess coincided with an event. ![]()
