The projects would also include construction of stations and a light maintenance yard. “For 40 miles, that's a big deal.”Ībout 17.4 miles of Caltrain track would need to be modified to support speeds up to 110 mph. “We were able to really drive those impacts even further down where I think we would have just a handful of property impacts that we ultimately have at the end of the project,” Lipkin says. The rejected option would have added about 6 miles of additional passing tracks, records show. The board selected its preferred alternative for the section, which would build on commuter rail service of Caltrain’s electrification project corridor and minimize impacts on areas along its route compared to a second option that had been considered. Plans call for that downtown station to be used only temporarily until the Transbay Joint Powers Authority extends the electrified rail corridor to Salesforce Transit Center, which would then serve as the terminal station for the high-speed line. Proceeding northwest from the Diridon high-speed rail station in San Jose, which was previously approved, this section would add stops in Millbrae near San Francisco International Airport and in downtown San Francisco at Fourth and King streets. For example, if you’re filling in your credit card information through this process, LastPass might occasionally miss the security code. It’ll do its best to fill all relevant fields - and it’s right most of the time. Through the LastPass browser extension, you can find and fill items, so if LastPass doesn’t pick up that there’s, say, a credit card field, you can still autofill. That’s true for passwords but also forms and credit cards, even if LastPass doesn’t detect the correct field. Based on our testing, the autofill works well, no matter if you’re using it in the browser or on desktop. If you’re, say, signing into Adobe Creative Cloud, LastPass can autofill your login credentials. LastPass saves you the trouble of having to type your login credentials. Wales is credited with defining the goal of making a publicly editable encyclopedia, while Sanger is credited with the strategy of using a wiki to reach that goal. Nupedia was initially licensed under its own Nupedia Open Content License, but before Wikipedia was founded, Nupedia switched to the GNU Free Documentation License at the urging of Richard Stallman. Its main figures were Bomis CEO Jimmy Wales and Larry Sanger, editor-in-chief for Nupedia and later Wikipedia. It was founded on March 9, 2000, under the ownership of Bomis, a web portal company. Wikipedia began as a complementary project for Nupedia, a free online English-language encyclopedia project whose articles were written by experts and reviewed under a formal process. It has been criticized for exhibiting systemic bias, particularly gender bias against women and ideological bias. Wikipedia has been praised for its enablement of the democratization of knowledge, extent of coverage, unique structure, culture, and reduced degree of commercial bias. The sea lion high show was definitely the highlight of the day it was fantastic. I was a bit disappointed in the dolphin and beluga whale show I recall there being a bunch of acrobatics back then. I visited SeaWorld San Antonio on Friday August 14, first time back at seaworld since 2008, It was awesome seeing the orcas again after all these years. Beautifully laid out and it was a great afternoon that kept us busy and a touch of nostalgia with the Sesame Street parade to finish ![]() Food on site has variety but is expensive and lots of up-selling going on which is up to guests to ignore. We only had one day and tickets at $70 a head were overpriced for the limited hours and attractions but we bought one gold annual pass and used the free friend tickets to achieve our single family visit - a bit convoluted but that's down to SeaWorld not properly pricing the season properly. The christmas lights were very pretty and extensive. I have personal misgivings about the merits of an orca conservation programme at a location not even near the sea but accept they have the animal stock they have and SeaWorld has to now make the best of who they are and where they are. We arrived at 2pm and managed to fit in all the animal shows, they were all good and the narrative has clearly shifted to education from entertainment. The Atlantis and Great White were closed for winter maintenance and I do wish these places would make this really clear on their websites which highlighted all rides not explaining that for months two of the six would be shut. Light crowds meant we walked onto the rides that were open of which the wave rider was favourite. We went at the end of the winter lights festival, there were military guests and families making up the light crowds so I guess coincided with an event. ![]() ![]() ![]() Below are infographics Schott developed with Racial Justice NOW in Ohio.
